Romans 10:9-10
"Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
How To Become A Christian
A Christian means "Christ-like One" and it begins with salvation. Salvation is the work of God by which God rescues humanity from eternal destruction because of sin and offers humanity eternal life with God. Sin is falling short of God's holy standard for living.
How Are We Saved?

We confess that we have fallen short of God's standard

We repent (have a change of heart/mind)

We confess that God sent his son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sins
-
By faith, we ask Jesus to come into our hearts and take control of our life
We are saved, we are now a Christian, a child of God!
